Today we have a very special guest in the house! A House Music & Hip House legend, pioneer and friend, Tyree Cooper the worldwide producer awesome super duper trooper the pioneer behind the legendary track "Turn Up The Bass" with Kool Rock Steady. Tyree Cooper is part of the first Global House music revolution that started in Chicago. His contribution to House Music & Acid House is unmatched and led him to co-create Hip House alongside DJ Fast Eddie, widening the appeal of House music worldwide. Growing up on the streets of Chicago’s South Side, listening to Farley Jackmaster Funk and The Hot Mix 5, Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles and his mother’s and uncles’ music collection, Tyree was well schooled in music at an early age. As a freshman he joined the Simeon H.S Concert and Marching Band. Two years after college Tyree was already one of the most popular and highly sought-after DJs in Chicago. He was then approached by Vince Lawrence of the House band Jesse’s Gang (founded by Jesse Saunders) who persuaded Tyree to put together a demo tape of his music to start a career as a recording artist. From now on, it was only a question of time before signing the first record deal with the Chicago based underground label D.J. International Records and the rest was history in the making.

Join us as we sit down with Glover Quin. Father, family man, entrepreneur, business owner, 2014 Pro Bowler & All-Pro, retired NFL athlete and was inducted into the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame. Quin played for the University of New Mexico Lobos and then spent 10 seasons in the NFL, playing for the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions. Glover is also a huge advocate for the Arts, after retiring from the NFL things didn't slow down for him. He continued to advocate for the sports and mentor other students along the way. Quin eventually fell in love with the process of creating and that's when his interest in photography & custom framing came upon. He is the owner and founder of "GQ Frames". After retiring from the NFL he began his journey into art. He started in photography and ended up in framing. Now he gets to combine his love for art and sports by framing sports jerseys, memorabilia, photos, art, canvases and anything else of sentimental value.

Join us as we sit down with a Chicago House Music legend, entrepreneur, advocate, mentor, founder and community leader Dr. Michael Airhart who serves the homeless through the "Taste For The Homeless". Michael has built strong relationships along the way with world renowned Chicago House Music DJ & producer Paul Johnson, actress & singer Jennifer Hudson and received The President Joe Bidden Lifetime Achievement Award and received a doctorate in humanitarian & philanthropy. His mission is to uplift the homeless on the street and those living in shelters to become contributing citizens. Hot meals, clothing, hygiene items, and social services are provided. It was there he learned to cook and he learned to sew. Most importantly, he learned to provide for himself, two brothers and others in the city’s largest public housing development, Altgeld Gardens. “Many of the parents were on drugs or just disappeared, so we had to survive,” recalls Michael, now 49. It was largely due to the young resourceful chef that many of them did. “Everyone in the projects knew about me. Everyone knew what I was capable of, that I cared for everyone. As a kid, I was the one who was serving food to the kids. I was the one knocking on project doors asking for a can of tomato sauce, spaghetti, sugar, whatever. I would actually put a meal together for my friends.”

Su trabajo fue expuesto en salas como el Museo de Arte Moderno de la Ciudad de México, Museo Regional de Puebla y Museo Rufino Tamayo. En 2024, es invitada por Artexpo New York -los mismos recintos donde medio siglo atrás irrumpieron figuras como Andy Warhol, Keith Haring o Basquiat-, donde expuso su colección Desapego, inspirada en el Arte Povera, a partir de materiales completamente reciclados. Allí, se aferró a su convicción estética por la cual la belleza puede manifestarse en la simpleza y el desapego, tal el sello de su diario personal de viaje.

Roger Martinez, born and raised in Chicago, Army Veteran and Law Enforcement Officer with a passion for classic cars and Lowriders. Inspired by the Lowrider culture movement in the early 80s and 90s, he purchased his very first 65 Chevy Impala at age 15, which fueled his journey and passion into the classic car culture. Grew up in Little Village Chicago, then moved to Cicero due to the harsh gang culture terrorizing Little Village. After he established his career in law enforcement, he was able to start his own car club and became the founder and organizer of the Chi Town Classics Car Club. Now operates community car shows and fundraiser events under the banner of Chi Town Car Shows. Having had a near death experience in 2017, he was shot in the back of the head and through the grace of God he miraculously was given a second chance at life and became more grateful and appreciative of life. He continues to inspire others through faith and continues doing good deeds for the car culture community. He attends a lot of car shows and creates content through videos to tell a story. Jessica Medina a talented actress, director, producer and stuntwoman with over 100 film credits under her belt and has made a name for herself in the film & cinema industry. It was then that Jes decided to lead a life of musical expression and lift himself to a higher state of being. Embracing his negative childhood exposure, Jes used that negative activity to propel his dreams and to fuel his drive to succeed. 35 years later, Jes is still continuing his path of musical creativity and has evolved into a professional dj, producer, and business owner. His passion for music still burns bright within. Jes has been part of music industry for over 35 years and has emerged as a leading dj, producer, and remixer. Jes is an original house pioneer that continues to be an integral part of the underground electronic scene.

Jose Angel is a world-renowned international award winning & published documentary photographer, director, cinematographer and filmscore composer based between the U.S & Mexico and extending his brand as far as London. Born and raised on the rough streets of Chicago and being surrounded by drugs, gangs, violence and shootings in his neighborhood wasn't the easiest or the best lifestyle for him as a kid, but that made him a tough kid to be reckoned with. He lost a few close friends along the way due to gangs, drugs, violence and shootings in Chicago. Having family members and friends that had ties to gangs made him realize quickly that he needed to choose a different path for his future. That’s when he decided to pick up a camera and the rest was history. Jose Angel grew up DJing and listening to House Music, Deep House, Tech House, Disco House, French House, Acid House and everything else in between. As a House Music ambassador this allowed him to work alongside and build friendships and longtime relationships with some international legends in the House Music industry such as DJ Sneak, Bad Boy Bill, Mark Farina, Tyree Cooper, Fast Eddie, Ralphi Rosario, DJ Jes, Derrick Carter, CZR, DJ Matt B, Joe Smooth, Farley Jackmaster Funk, The Phantoms Revenge, Paul Johnson, Frankie Knuckles, Rafael “Ito” Garcia, Todd Terry, Felix Da Housecat, DJ Colette & DJ AM just to name a few. He is currently working on a "House Music Documentary" to be released in the near future and is also building up his music catalog in the world of Filmmaking, Cinema & Filmscoring.
